February 23, 2017The Board of Education is now accepting nominations for the 2017 PRIDE Awards. The PRIDE Awards were created by the District 200 Board in 1990 to honor outstanding graduating seniors. The word, “PRIDE” is an acronym that stands for “Positive Recognition in District 200 Education.”
January 11, 2017Since October 2016, District 200 has gone through a process to review our facilities. This group is comprised of community members, administration, and staff, who have been engaged in a process of reviewing the current state of District 200 facilities along with examining future needs for facility utilization.
December 8, 2016Please see below for a link to a letter from Superintendent Dr. Michael Moan regarding the district’s Facilities Review process. In addition, in order to provide information on the progress of the committee, a Community Forum meeting will be held on December 20, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Woodstock High School Auditorium. April 18, 2016After 40 years of service to District 200, Buildings & Grounds Head of Maintenance Denny Nielsen has retired. Denny's last day was at the end of March. Jim Herron, who was formerly the Head Custodian at Woodstock North High School, has assumed the Head of Maintenance position. Thank you, Denny, for your hard work, your friendship and your many years of outstanding service to District 200. We wish you all the best in the future. You will be missed!
